My name is Dr. Soulaf Mansour. I am an IBCLC-certified Lactation Consultant and PhD in Food Sciences, based in Dubai — with over 15 years of experience supporting mothers across the UAE.
Breastfeeding is rarely straightforward. I know this from science, from practice, and from my own experience as a mother. That's why I built my work around one simple mission: making sure no mother feels alone on this journey.
My journey : From Science to Motherhood
I earned my PhD in Food Sciences in France and worked as an R&D manager in the dairy industry. With my scientific background, I thought feeding my baby would be simple and natural.
But when I had my first child, I quickly discovered that knowledge in nutrition was not enough. Breastfeeding was painful and overwhelming. I struggled with cracked nipples, fatigue, and feelings of isolation—challenges so many mothers experience.
That moment transformed me. I realized that breastfeeding success is not about education level, but about having the right support at the right time. My own struggles inspired me to retrain as an IBCLC Lactation Consultant. Today, I combine my scientific expertise and empathy as a mother to guide families with evidence-based, compassionate care.
